New York Knicks

The woeful New York Knicks visit the streaking Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls in a nationally televised game.

  • New York Knicks (28-43)
  • Chicago Bulls (36-33)
  • NBA, Today, 8:00 PM on MSG, ESPN, Full Preview
  • United Center, Chicago, IL

The New York Knicks visit Chicago tonight in the first half of a home-and-home against the Bulls.

The two teams couldn’t be in more different positions, as New York’s season has become pointless, while Chicago is still fighting for their playoff lives.

Before the season began no one could’ve expected the Bulls would be the Eastern Conference’s 8th seed with just 13 games remaining. They’ve under performed due to injuries to key rotation players such as Jimmy Butler and Joakim Noah.

The Knicks have lost 5-of-7 and are rightfully the underdogs tonight. After the stinker they put up against the Sacramento Kings on Sunday without Carmelo Anthony, New York hit rock bottom. With or without their best player, scoring just 80 points against Sacramento’s pitiful defense is embarrassing.

The Knicks and Bulls have split the first two games of the season series.
