New York Knicks’ Kristaps Porzingis makes an incredible play during his impressive third quarter performance against the Wizards.

Usually when a team fires their head coach they come out playing with fire, better than before. That wasn’t the case tonight as the New York Knicks were stunned by the Washington Wizards in the first quarter at the Garden as they opened up a 16-point lead, boosted by 10 first half three-pointers, that ended up in a 13-point halftime deficit.

Like the rest of the team, Kristaps Porzingis struggled in the first half. In desperate need of a spark to stop the Wizards hot shooting the rookie stepped up. He dominated the third quarter with an incredible performance, dropping 14 points, headlined by this incredible move in the post against his first half foe, Jared Dudley.

The Knicks and Porzingis fought all the way back to tie things up and now have a good chance to take home a win against the shell shocked Wizards.
