It’s set. Super Bowl 50 will feature the Denver Broncos out of the AFC and the Carolina Panthers from the NFC.
Only now begins the incredible number of storylines that’ll hit our computer screens and newspaper backpages for the next 14 days.
One storyline is quite inevitable: the contrasting styles between each squad’s leader.
Peyton Manning is a 39-year old five-time MVP who is on his last legs. His arm is weak, body brittle, yet comes in with just as good a chance to win his second Super Bowl as ever thanks to a loaded and dominant defense.
On the other hand, Cam Newton is the young buck who is currently in the prime of his career. He’ll most likely be the 2015 NFL MVP and leads the tam who finished with the best record in the NFL this season (15-1).
One guy is pure pocket passer; the other a mobile freak of an athlete. One guy is old-school; one is new school.
They’re both worthy.

While the leaders on offense project contrasting styles, each defense is quite similar in the sense that they’re probably the best defenses in the league.
The early odds are in and it seems Carolina is the early favorite:
