Massachusetts native Mike Condon returns to familiar territory, as he has been putting up a goalie showcase in this year’s NHL Winter Classic.

No, that’s not Carey Price in net for the Montreal Canadiens.

Neither is it recently-acquired Ben Scrivens.

No, that’s rookie Mike Condon taking the spotlight.

A native of Needham, MA, it’s a homecoming for the Canadiens goalie, who is showcasing some impressive skills against the Bruins.

Through the second period, he’s not been busy as his counterpart Tuukka Rask, only having to face 17 shots so far.

Before the game, Condon was honored by Patriots greats Bill Belichik and Tom Brady autographing his goalie helmet.

Maybe that championship magic may have rubbed off on the wrong team. But hey, no arguments will come from Condon.
