There are very few words to describe the Hail Mary we just witnessed Aaron Rodgers pull off for his Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football.

Very seldom do we see magic occur on the football field. It’s one of those games for which 80 yards and under 30 seconds seems too much to overcome.

Good thing for us Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers doesn’t feel this way, because he just treated the nation with one of the more remarkable finishes in the NFL in quite some time.

After a failed scramble play which resulted in a very questionable facemask penalty on the Detroit Lions (on Rodgers himself), the reigning NFL MVP pulled off a Hail Mary for the ages (video above).

Green Bay trailed by two points with no time remaining on the clock, but tight end Richard Rodgers used that big frame of his to shield off defenders and haul in the 61-yard miracle touchdown pass.

Final score from Detroit: Packers 27, Lions 23.
