For the third straight game, New York Knicks rookie sensation Kristaps Porzingis follows up a teammate’s missed shot with a thunderous slam.

This guy is starting to make a quick name for himself. After watching him during the NBA Summer League, and during the New York Knicks first five-games, it’s not surprising.

What is surprising about how rookie sensation Kristaps Porzingis is making a name for himself, is how he’s doing it.

Instead of pouring in outside jumpers and hanging around the perimeter, KP is playing tough. So tough, in fact, he’s following up teammate’s missed shots and slamming them home in thunderous fashion.

For the third straight game, Porzingis collected an offensive rebound and two points in one powerful flush (video above).

New York will most likely fall to the Milwaukee Bucks tonight, but KP is allowing fans to understand how bright the future is.
