MLB: Here are a couple of predictions for both Game 5’s of the American League Division Series.

By Corey Aron

Before we even get into the Game 5 Predictions we have to first acknowledge the new powerhouse of the National League, the Chicago Cubs.

It’s one thing for this organization to not have won a World Series since 1908, it’s something completely different to experience the first time in Wrigley Field history for Cubbie nation getting to witness their first ever series clinching victory at the newly renovated park.

They can wave the White flag as it now holds the most power blue W that they’ve had to date.

Fans just had to stay the course ever since GM Theo Epstein’s arrival. His mission was to go young, eventually transforming this team back into a winning culture. Make no question about it that this didn’t just happen over night.

The Cubs in Epstein’s four-seasons, since coming to the team in 2011, have averaged 68 wins and 94 losses.

Let’s face it, former managers such as: Mike Quade (2010-11), Dale Sveum (2012-13), and Rick Renteria’s one year stint last season, didn’t make for a happy GM, nor fan-base. So what better way to change things up then to bring over the magic man himself, Joe Maddon.

It takes a magician to have made the Tampa Bay Rays into a relevant organization.

With a few tricks up his sleeve along with sporting of that new beard of his, Joe Maddon and Theo Epstein will become immortal in baseball if they can live up to Back to the Future’s prediction of them winning 2015’s World Series.
