Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Cooper Bateman will surely realize that “head on a swivel” is no joke after an interception is thrown.

By Robby Sabo

Crunch isn’t even the word to appropriately describe this play.

After throwing a pick in Saturday night’s showdown against Ole Miss, Alabama quarterback Cooper Bateman didn’t keep his head on a swivel. He failed to look right and it cost him big time.

Watch Ole Miss linebacker┬áDenzel Nkemdiche completely obliterate the Crimson Tide QB. As John Madden used to love to say, “the man is now getting up looking out of his ear-hole.”

The hit wasn’t out of line at all. This big-boy Division 1 College Football in the SEC. What was completely over the edge was the fashion Nkemdiche stood over the QB who laid half-dead on the turf.

That should’ve garnered retaliation from Alabama immediately.

As it stands right now the game is at halftime with No. 15 Old Miss holding a 17-10 lead over Nick Saban’s No. 2 Tide.
