New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony recently wrote some interesting comments to fans on his Instagram account.

Somebody within his inner-circle just needs to delete his Instagram account.
New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony simply can’t help himself. He thoroughly enjoys going back and forth with fans on his personal Instagram account.
Earlier this summer he set the record straight with a fan about his feeling on the Kristaps Porzingis pick, and now he’s talking about “caring.”
In response to a fan questioning his desire about the game, Anthony wrote this, via Ian Begley of ESPN:
“Shows how little you know about me. Staying in NY shows that I do care. If I would have left, what would you have said then? “Oh, Melos wack for leaving. He turned his back on NY”. FOH. You are stuck with me buddy. Deal with it. If you want me gone, I’ll personally walk you into the front office so you can plead your case of the Knicks trading me. Hope you have bail money bc they might have you arrested for Disturbing the Peace.”
Put away the damn keyboard Melo. It’s just not worth it.
When one fan wrote that Anthony “shouldn’t listen to the negativity” and should “trust the process” because the Knicks are on the right path, Melo responded with “Best thing I’ve heard all day.”
The bottom line is simple. Getting involved with give-and-takes with fans on social media never works out for the professional athlete. Enjoy your accounts and post away, but ignore the comments completely.
Anthony is, of course, returning to the Knicks after an injury-plagued 2014-15 which saw him only play in 40 games.
