Patrick Kane received a visit this morning from the Hamburg Police Department and early reports are it involves a possible rape allegation.

Hamburg Police Officials paid a visit to Patrick Kane’s New York home today, and the visit could not have been for a worse reason. Reports are starting to hit Twitter and they are indicating Kane is under an alleged rape investigation.
Tim Graham of the Buffalo News was one of the first to report on the reason for the investigation and is on top of the situation.
The Patrick Kane investigation is a rape investigation.

However, there is a belief from multiple sources Kane might turn himself in as early as today.

Hamburg Police have not released any information, which is not uncommon in a rape investigation.
The Buffalo police are familiar with Kane’s history. In August of 2009, he was arrested for assaulting a taxi driver and plead guilty.
Kane has a reputation as a party boy, but this is shocking news coming out about the Chicago Blackhawks star forward. Kane is in line to start his $10.5 million per year extension next year and has a lot at stake, if formally charged or convicted.
Coming off a Stanley Cup Championship season this is not what any NHL or Blackhawks official wants to hear about from one of their superstar players.
