New York Yankees Send Sabathia To Hill In Rubber-Game

The New York Yankees will send C.C. Sabathia to the hill in the rubber-game against the Boston Red Sox at the Stadium.

Finally a pitcher got the best of that powerhouse lineup of the New York Yankees. It was Steven Wright, the knuckleballer, on Wednesday night, as the Boston Red Sox knocked off the Bronx Bombers 2-1.

Tonight, the Yanks will look to avoid losing a series for the first time in a long time as the struggling C.C. Sabathia (4-8, 5.54 ERA) will oppose Eduardo Rodriguez (6-3, 4.34 ERA) at Yankee Stadium tonight.

This will be the hefty-lefty’s first start since being hospitalized for dehydration last week following his loss against the Texas Rangers.
