With these ridiculous figures flying around during NBA free agency, a few NFL players decided to speak out on it with jealousy attached.

The entirety of Day 1 of the NBA free agency period totaled a stellar amount of $1 billion. In fact, it passed the $1 billion mark.
According to ESPN, it’s more near the $1.4 billion total that teams have promised to players.
Kevin Love, Anthony Davis, Marc Gasol, Jimmy Butler, Greg Monroe, Goran Dragic and Danny Green are just a few names of the rich and famous ballers who are getting paid.
Thanks to the massive amount of absurdity in green, a few NFL players have taken notice. One such guy is Washington Redskins safety Duke Ihenacho:
All this guaranteed money NBA throwing. Meanwhile the NFL, which generates the most money wont even make the league minimum $1M

Yes $1M minimum. That means every single player’s salary in the NFL should start there. Highest risk of injury..brain trauma, richest league — Duke Ihenacho (@NachoLyfe) July 1, 2015
We players don’t even speak our opinion on this because we don’t wanna be fined or punished or whatever. But most of us feel this way.

Then, some of his NFL brethren decided to chime in:
These NBA contracts are crazy!!! Happy for the the players in that League #NBAFreeAgency — Brian Orakpo (@rak98) July 2, 2015
Dear NBA is it too late for me to live out my hoop dreams ?!!! Eww Lord these boys getting paid
— Tony Carter (@tonycarter904) July 1, 2015
Man everyday getting paid today it’s like Christmas in July can I go back and hoop again please?!?!?!? — Dominique Jones (@DominiqueJones5) July 1, 2015
Boy these NBA contracts! 💰👀

For all the obvious reasons it is true: NFL players get the raw end in this deal.
Although, once you take the normal everyday man into account who works 40-hours a weed in a nine-to-fiver, their payday doesn’t seem so bad.
