ESPN Radio host Colin Cowherd actually has to cut an interview short with Jim Harbaugh because of how awkwardly painful it went down.

What happened today on the Colin Cowherd show on ESPN Radio was a classic clash of personalities.

Cowherd, who most realize he’s more interested in goofy talk rather than real sports these days, brought on newly-minted Michigan Wolverines head football coach Jim Harbaugh.

To say the interview went poorly would be selling it so incredibly short on the spectrum of awkwardness.

Harbaugh, who clearly didn’t eat his Wheaties the morning of the show, had zero interest in discussing anything other than football. Cowherd, on the other hand, seemed like he was probing for what Harbaugh’s favorite color changed to upon his arrival at his Alma-Mater.

It went so terribly wrong that the sports “guy-talk” radio host actually had to cut the interview short.
