Not only did Los Angeles Dodgers center-fielder Joc Pederson make a fantastic catch on Sunday, he did it to save the game.

What exactly was it that Jack Nicholson said in the smash-hit A Few Good Men?

“You want me on that wall, you need me on that wall?”

Well, Los Angeles Dodgers stud rookie outfielder Joc Pederson picked up the Nicholson message yesterday.

Playing in San Deigo against the division rival Padres, Pederson went back on a ball that was crushed by Justin Upton. With runners on first and second and the game tied in the bottom of the ninth-inning, if the ball dropped San Diego would have walked-off with the victory.

Instead, Pederson came up with the dazzling glove and tough mindset while crashing into the wall that sent the game into extras.

Los Angeles eventually scored two in the top of the 12th to take the game by a final of 4-2. Pederson finished 1 for 4 with two walks at the plate.
