In a another shocker (to some), LeBron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers take Game 3 of the NBA Finals to go up 2-1 in the series.

With every game, every step, every breathe the man takes, he’s elevating his NBA legend-status.
LeBron James led his Cleveland Cavaliers to a 96-91 victory over the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 of the NBA Finals Tuesday night.
The final score looked kind for Steph Curry’s crew. In reality, this game was a complete washout until a fourth-quarter push which saw Curry suddenly find his range.

The Cavs shot out of the gate quickly, leading by seven at half-time and an incredible 17 after three-quarters.
Scrappy backup point-guard, Matthew Dellavedova, again asserted himself as that gritty player every championship team needs.
If there was a box score stat for hustle plays, he’d would’ve doubled up the next closest guy in tonight’s game. Delly also harassed the league MVP yet again. Like previously mentioned, it wasn’t until the final frame that Curry got things going a bit.
Overall the Cavs defense was stout and physical. They played smart by going straight up in the air, while protecting their rim, and also respecting the perimeter danger Curry and Klay Thompson present.
The trend of LeBron realizing he needs to take a ton of shots continued. And yet again, his usually sparkling field goal percentage suffered as he could only nail 14 of 34.
Regardless, he did everything on the Cleveland floor, contributing with 40 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocks.
The fact that this group is two-wins away from an NBA Championship is simply amazing.
