Ben Ancheff, a pitcher for the St. Thomas Bobcats, breathes new life into the term “Mighty Righty” as a 300 lb. thrower of the baseball.

At 6’2″ and 300 lbs., right-handed pitcher Ben Ancheff deserves a second (or seventh) look while on the mound for his St. Thomas Bobcats squad.
On Friday night, his team took on Lewis-Clark State.
Ancheff made the start, yielding only one run and striking out five in just four-innings – being removed due to arm soreness.
The story here just isn’t that Ancheff could perhaps be the biggest pitcher in the history of this universe, it’s that he showcases a skill-set that amazes for a man of his size.
Whoever says “Pitchers aren’t athletes” obviously haven’t seen St. Thomas’ Ben Ancheff in NAIA WS. @SportsCenter pic.twitter.com/vdKHTbqMNv

Only in baseball can a man of this size (and shape) succeed.
For now, New York Mets righty Bartolo Colon is off the hook.
