If you’re a New York Knicks fan, you weren’t truly that delusional, were you?
Okay, so 30 years ago a phenomenal thing happened for the franchise. They took home the first ever NBA Draft Lottery and selected arguably the greatest player in franchise history, Patrick Ewing.
After this recent decade-plus of misery, you couldn’t actually have expected the Knicks to snare the No. 1 pick? At the very least, they should keep their No. 2 slot, right?
Of course not. The Knicks actually fell out of the top three. They will select No. 4 during the 2015 NBA Draft.

This will bring names up such as Justice Winslow, Emmanuel Mudiay and D’Angelo Russell.
Phil Jackson will have one major decision on his hands in a month.
The Minnesota Timberwolves took home the No. 1 overall pick for the first time in franchise history. The Los Angeles Lakers will select No. 2, while the Philadelphia 76ers will choose No. 3.
