During last Sunday’s victory over the Dallas Cowboys, the New York Giants illegally used walkie talkie’s and are expected to be fined.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, sources have claimed that a fine is incoming for the New York Giants following last Sunday’s game where they illegally used walkie-talkies on the field.
The main reason this is such a problem is because coaches are not allowed to be in possession of any two-way radios during the game, but Giants head coach Ben McAdoo was seen using them last week after having trouble with the provided headsets.

This is not allowed to happen in the NFL because it gives coaches an opportunity to communicate with their quarterbacks within 15 seconds of the play clock ending which is against NFL guidelines.
“We’ve touched base with the league, we’re working through it right now,” McAdoo said to the media when asked about the situation. “I don’t have anything to add, but we are working with the league on the incident.”
Maybe in the future to avoid another fine and a harsher penalty, the New York Giants should just avoid walkie-talkies at all costs.
