The Wolf on Fantasy Football Street is back with his Week 11 Sell High & Buy Low. Pay attention, you might just win some dough with this.

By Ryan Reynolds

Another week of NFL football is in the books, which means a fresh week of Fantasy Football is on the horizon. With just about three weeks left until the fantasy playoffs start, plenty of moves can be made in order to increase the chances of taking home the prize. Trades are a great way to improve your squad, whether it’s dealing a player coming off a hot game, or trading for a potential fantasy star.

Let’s recap my Week 10 options and review their performance.

Last week, I told fantasy owners to Sell High on both Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown. Cobb only managed to post 5 fantasy points, and if you took my advice and traded Antonio Brown, you can blame it all on me as quarterback Ben Roethlisberger made an unexpected appearance ending in Brown scoring two touchdowns.

As for my Week 10 Buy Low options, Oakland Raiders wide receivers Michael Crabtree posted 5 points, while teammate Amari Cooper posted 7. For the back-end option, Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker produced 5 points.

Here is the fourth installment of the Wolf on Fantasy Football Street in preparation for Week 11.

Sell High

Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers

No… your eyes aren’t mistaking you. The Packers are going into Week 11 having lost their last three games. Rodgers hasn’t lost three straight starts since 2008 and the offense just looks out of sync in general. No wide receiver Jordy Nelson, running back Eddie Lacy isn’t playing like his usual self and receiver Randall Cobb is struggling. The NFL is shaping into a speed attack league which is bad for Green Bay because they don’t have a receiver that runs faster than a 4.5 40-time.

So why do I have the regaining NFL MVP as a sell high option?

At this point in the season the Packers should be hitting the panic button. If you look at their upcoming schedule, they play the Minnesota Vikings twice, the Detroit Lions, who had Rodgers number in Week 10, and the Arizona Cardinals. Yes, the upcoming games are scary matchups for Rodgers and the Packers, but just his fantasy value in general makes him a good trade asset. There are plenty of quality quarterbacks in the league putting up similar fantasy points per game as Rodgers, and if you’re an owner lacking depth in a particular position, don’t think you’re crazy to shop him around.

The Wolf’s suggestion? Try and improve the lacking positions by trading Rodgers, and pick up a replacement QB off waivers or via trade.

Sell High

Chicago Bears Running Back Jeremy Langford

Much like Kansas City Chiefs running back Charcandrick West, Jeremy Langford is doing a phenomenal job filling in for injured Bears running back Matt Forte. Langford is coming off two productive fantasy weeks, posting a total of 70 plus rushing yards in each of the two games while also reaching the endzone three times. As I’ve mentioned in previous Fantasy Football Street editions, running backs that can catch the ball out of the backfield make for great fantasy producers. In Week 10, Langford proved he has that added value by catching 7 passes for a total of 109 yards and 1 receiving touchdown.

Yes, Langford’s statistics have been great up to this point, but why is he a sell high option for Week 11? Well, the Bears offense is suspect and unreliable, and if you look at the Chicago Bears upcoming schedule, there are some unfavorable matchups for the rooking out of Michigan State. The Bears face the Denver Broncos in Week 11, the Packers in Week 12, the Washington Redskins in Week 14 and the Minnesota Vikings in Week 15. With Matt Forte returning to practice, it may be time to say your farewells to Langford and move on from the rookie standout.

Buy Low

Miami Dolphins Wide Receiver Jarvis Landry

Although the 4-5 Miami Dolphins are having a mediocre season, the second year man out of LSU is flying under the radar and is posting some great fantasy numbers. Landry is averaging 10 fantasy points per game and is averaging around 4 to 8 receptions. Landry’s best games came in Weeks 2 and 7. In Week 2, he caught 8 passes for 110 yards, and in Week 7 he pulled in 5 receptions for 83 yards while adding 2 touchdowns.

With New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman being shelved for the rest of the fantasy season, Jarvis Landry would make for a solid replacement.

Buy Low

Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart

Stewart may be a reach Buy Low option for Week 11 since he’s playing on an undefeated Panthers squad, but he is a player worth keeping an eye on. Stewart is looking as healthy as ever, and after a rough fantasy start, is really coming to form. Since Carolina’s Week 5 Bye, Stewart has posted double digit fantasy points in four of five games. He’s averaging 9 fantasy points and 20 plus carries per game, while adding 4 touchdowns. Carolina’s offense is on a roll with quarterback Cam Newton leading the charge and Jonathan Stewart’s fantasy ceiling is as high as ever.

If you’re an owner looking for a running back, Stewart would be an addition that would add consistent production.

Toss Up: Sell High / Buy Low

Dallas Cowboys Wide Receiver Dez Bryant

I have Dez Bryant listed as both a Sell High and Buy Low option for Week 11.

Entering the 2015 season, Dez was a sought after receiver by all fantasy owners; until an unfortunate injury occurred in Week 1 knocking all hope out of those who were able to acquire the star receiver. Absent for five games, Dez returned in Week 8 only to haul in 2 receptions for 12 yards. After his Week 8 performance, Dez’s health was a question for many. Is he back to full health? Or are the Cowboys just trying to rush his return? Well he answered that question the following week posting “Dez-like” numbers and showing doubters that he’s back to full form. During the Week 9 divisional showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles, he caught 5 passes for 104 yards and reached the endzone once.

So why do I have Dez Bryant listed as both a Sell High and Buy Low option? Well there’s two sides to every argument. Quarterback Tony Romo is expected to return to action this week against the Miami Dolphins. His return is great for Dez’s fantasy potential, making him a valuable trade asset. Romo’s return could also make Dez a solid WR1 for the rest of the fantasy season.

Owners can take a chance and trade for him or use the return of Romo to their advantage and trade him for multiple pieces. It’s all based on the fantasy owner’s preference.

And that’s a wrap for the Wolf’s Sell High and Buy Low options for Week 11. Be sure to follow me, the Wolf, on twitter (@Ryan_Reynolds9) and tweet me any fantasy questions you may have. Good luck in Week 11!
