The New York Giants cut their deficit against the Jets to 14-13 as Daniel Jones connects with Darius Slayton on a 56-yard touchdown.

Down 14-7 and facing a 4th down, Daniel Jones and Darius Slayton pulled the New York Giants to within a single point.

Slayton burned Nate Hairston on the slat and took it to the house at MetLife.

For Slayton, it was his second of the first half.

Trailing 14-0 and all of the momentum in the Jets’ favor, the Giants offense finally came to life in the second quarter when they drove 75 yards on eight plays, culminating in a Jones five-yard touchdown to the man of the hour, Slayton.

The touchdowns are Slayton’s fourth and fifth touchdown of the season, which leads the Giants.

Slayton could be poised for a huge second half with Sterling Shepard and tight end Evan Engram missing the game due to injuries.
