Other Rangers prospect news

Vitali KravtsovKravtsov’s Traktor team was eliminated in the KHL playoffs on Monday. Traktor was swept 4-0 by Avtomobilist following their 4-3 loss on Monday. The Blueshirts now have to decide if they will offer an entry-level contract to the Rangers first-round pick or wait until the summer.

Nils Lundkvist – The news was not good on the Rangers prospect as it was reported Lundkvist suffered a lower-body injury on a game this past weekend.

The tweet translated read; Nils Lundkvist has been studied after leaving the match. Nothing is broken in the foot, going with the team home tonight and X-rayed tomorrow.

Lundkvist had to be helped off the ice by his teammates as there was no word on when he will be able to return to play.

Yegor RykovRykov averaged 22:52 of ice time and recorded three assists over four playoff games with HC Sochi last week. Rykov led HC Sochi in ice time in each of the final three games during the week, logging more than 23:00 of ice time in each game. The 21-year-old is currently ninth among KHL defensemen in average ice time thus far in the playoffs.
