Daily reminder that the New York Jets should draft Oklahoma’s, Baker Mayfield. Remembering the legendary Dick Enberg.

Here’s your daily reminder New York Jets. You haven’t had a franchise quarterback in 50 years, you’ll likely have a chance to take Oklahoma’s, Baker Mayfield. You should do it. I’ll keep tweeting about it every day until you do.

While some may question his maturity, I see a fiery competitor. While some may say he’s too short, I say look at Drew Brees and Russell Wilson, if you’re talented enough, you figure it out.

I see intangibles. I see a guy who makes the players around him better. He has all the tools. He’s a jack of all trades but a master of none. There doesn’t seem to be anything specific he’s elite at, but he does a lot of different things really well. It was announced that Mayfield will be participating at the Senior Bowl, he’s the first reigning Heisman winner to do so since Tim Tebow (2010).

Remembering a legend…

We learned this week that legendary broadcaster Dick Enberg has passed away at the age of 82. From the reports, the cause of death was a heart attack. While I didn’t get to enjoy the prime of Enberg’s career, I did remember a few Jets games he called. I’m glad the Jets gave a shoutout to him on their Twitter account, if you didn’t get to hear him, then you missed one of the best to ever do it.
