Leonard Williams, Muhammad Wilkerson and a few other New York Jets showcase their enjoyment at MSG during New York Rangers game six win.

For those who visit Madison Square Garden when the New York Rangers are in action, you know that familiar sound.

No, we’re not referencing that all-time classic called “Potvin Sucks.” (Although, it is a dandy.)

The tune we’re talking about right now is the familiar NFL on FOX sound:

Usually, it’s a football player affiliated with the New York Football Giants. You’ll be in the MSG crowd and suddenly that NFL on FOX theme song pops up only for the Garden to zoom in on the celebrity-athlete Rangers fan (Justin Tuck, Jason Pierre-Paul or Damon Harrison).

However, a difference color of football invaded the Garden on Saturday night during the Rangers series-clinching 3-1 victory over the Montreal Canadiens.

This color is green.

New York Jets studs Leonard Williams and Muhammad Wilkerson sat in the crowd cheering the Blueshirts on all night. The Big Cat made sure to let everybody know how much fun they had with the Instagram video above.

All this means now is these boys better return for every playoff game moving forward. They seem to be somewhat of a lucky presence.

Hey, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Hockey superstition is real.
