According to Frank Isola of The New York Daily News, LeBron James wants the Cavs to trade for Carmelo Anthony no matter what it takes.

The latest addition to the Carmelo Anthony trade rumor saga is here, and this one’s a doozy. We know that Phil Jackson wants Anthony gone, and he’s doing everything he can to ditch his best player. After coming up empty for weeks, it looks like Jackson is going to get some help from the most powerful player in the NBA.

According to Frank Isola of The New York Daily News, LeBron James is pushing the Cleveland Cavaliers to trade for his friend even if it means including Kevin Love in the deal. The Cavs are reportedly interested in Anthony, just not for Love.

The King isn’t taking no for an answer. He thinks he needs help to beat the Golden State Warriors and Anthony is that guy. Not Kevin Love.

James told reporters of the constant rumors surrounding Melo, “I just want the best for my friend, no matter what it is.”

That’s pretty clear. Anthony would be much better off on the Cavs.
