The heart of the New York Jets offense, Nick Mangold, was spotted in a walking boot and is unlikely to play in Cleveland against the Browns.

When Ryan Fitzpatrick and the New York Jets travel to take on the Browns in Cleveland this Sunday, their best offensive player will probably be sidelined.

According to Rich Cimini of ESPN New York, center Nick Mangold was spotted in a walking boot on Thursday.

“He’s not running yet, he’s walking,” coach Todd Bowles said on Thursday. “As the days go by and he’s not running yet, it doesn’t look good. We’ll hold out another day or two.”

While spotted in the locker room for a brief moment, Mangold was seen limping. The seven-time Pro Bowler was injured in the first quarter of the Jets 24-16 victory over the Baltimore Ravens last Sunday.

Mangold, 32, who’s only missed four games in 11 seasons, will most likely be replaced by Wesley Johnson in Cleveland this Sunday.
