New York Giants kicker Josh Brown may have just sealed his fate with a report that came down on Monday morning regarding a decision.
New York Giants controversial kicker Josh Brown was placed on the commissioner’s exempt list prior to their game in London against the Los Angeles Rams. In signing former Chicago Bears kicker and Pennsylvania product Robbie Gould, Brown’s future with the Giants was in serious jeopardy.
Now, on Monday morning, ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that Brown likely won’t appeal the NFL’s decision that placed him on the exempt list.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network has reported that Brown is permitted at the Giants facility starting Oct. 21 if the organization permits it.
While everybody from John Mara to Ben McAdoo has stated that the Giants won’t turn their back on the troubled kicker, his future with New York is now in serious doubt. His future in the NFL is a wild card.
