Free agent or not, New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall simply won’t break it off with Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Oh uh. It seems as though Geno Smith supporters who read a little too much into the “no text message” story might have some backtracking to do.

Obviously, every Jet fans knows the deal. Geno Smith is the default starting quarterback for Gang Green with very little behind him.
Fitzpatrick, who led the Jets in 2015 to their most prolific offensive season in franchise history, remains at odds with Mike Maccagnan and the Jets front office over a new contract.
Free agent or not, these two simply won’t break up.
