One thing’s for sure: Baseball players wouldn’t have played through this mess of a night.

With the New York Red Bulls in Colorado taking on the Rapids, heavy snowfall plagued the match the entire night. Unfortunately for New York, snow or or snow couldn’t help them snap out of their funk.

They fell in defeat in full time, for the fifth time this season, by the final of 2-1.

Jermaine Jones, who made is long-awaited debut for Colorado, played the role of hero as he tallied a goal and an assist in the match.

The only good news for the Red Bulls came when Ronald Zubar headed home a Sacha Kljestan cross at the back post in the 60th minute, for it snapped a ridiculous 337-minute scoreless drought.

The loss for New York extends their winless streak to four games.
