With D’Brickashaw Ferguson now gone and retired, the New York Jets have acquired former Pro-Bowl tackle Ryan Clady from the Denver Broncos.

The faithful who root for the New York Jets had two very distinct thoughts on their mind over the last 48 hours – aside from the quarterback situation, of course.

Firstly, thanking D’Brickashaw Ferguson for the 10 years of service in the green and white was priority. Then it was to turn their collective attention to who might fill that left-tackle spot.

It seems both thoughts may have now come full circle.

Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that Gang Green has acquired four-time Pro Bowl tackle Ryan Clady from the Denver Broncos for a fifth-round draft pick. The Broncos are also throwing in a seventh-rounder.

Clady, 29, has already arrived at the Jets complex, on Friday, underwent a physical, and has been trying to reach agreement on a new deal.

The trade isn’t official, but is expected to be at some point over the next couple days.
