The Brooklyn Nets were missing two key rotation players, Thaddeus Young and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, tonight so it was expected they’d struggle even more than usual.

But this was just embarrassing.

The 139 points they allowed to the Orlando Magic were a franchise record, and it was just as ugly as it sounds.

All the progress the Nets have made over the last few games completely washed away against the Magic of all teams. That’s what happens to bad teams though, they go through bad slumps.

The Magic were ahead by 28 points at halftime, with Brook Lopez scoring just five points in the first half, and not playing in the second half. Bojan Bogdanovich didn’t play in the second half either, with head coach Tony Brown attempting to send a message to his team that their first half effort was unacceptable.
