Miami Dolphins wide receiver Rishard Matthews was unfortunately acquainted with New York Jets strong safety Calvin Pryor in the first quarter today.

If there was anything Calvin Pryor didn’t like to hit, we haven’t seen it yet.

More evidence of this came in the first quarter of today’s game between the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins. Just as Ryan Tannehill looked for wide receiver Rishard Matthews on a slant – resulting from an illegal pick play which was flagged – Pryor came up to absolutely jar the ball from the man (video above).

Take a look at the play. Matthews’s entire body shook. He left the game with what the Dolphins deemed as an upper-body injury. In actuality, they should’ve just called it an “entire body” injury.

Calvin Pryor continues to have a fantastic season in this, his second year as a pro with New York.
