Solid, not spectacular, considering there’s still no Tony Romo and Dez Bryant for the Boys.
Even without Romo, Dallas played a pesky game. Matt Cassel received his first start as a Cowboy and finished with very mixed results. His 17-for-27, 227 yards, 1 TD game would’ve looked a lot better if it hadn’t been for three killer interceptions.
Dominique Rogers-Cromartie was one of the guys who picked him off. In fact, DRC did it twice, taking one back to the house:
The game was tied at 20 with just over 7-minutes remaining the game. That was, until, former Cowboy Dwayne Harris took a 100-yard kick return to the house:
This was more than enough for Eli Manning and company to snag their fourth win of the season. Manning finished the day with a pedestrian 70-yards. The Giants as an offense could only muster 289-yards to the Cowboys 460.
It was a very ugly game, yet again. In the end, it came down to winning the turnover battle (4-0).
Next up for the Giants will be the Saints in New Orleans on Sunday.
