The Yankees might have failed this season, but can take solace in Aaron Judge still being Aaron Judge. The reigning MVP teed off for not one, not two, but three home runs against the Nationals.
Judge’s first two home runs came in the first two innings. First, a 431-foot solo shot off of MacKenzie Gore to open the scoring.
But the Yankee Captain wasn’t done with Gore just yet. In the second inning, he tattooed a fastball into Monument park for a 437-foot grand slam.
Finally, Judge added another solo home run. This one was the most modest, a simple 352-foot shot that seemed to sneak over the right field wall.
The Yankees lead Washington 9-0 in the eighth inning. Aaron Judge is 3 for 4 with six RBI.
