New York Rangers potential draft pick Kaapo Kappo tallies a ridiculous goal for Finland at the IIHF World Championships.

Oh my goodness, Kaapo Kakko; you now officially have every NHL team salivating.

Kakko, 18, tallied this ridiculous mini-breakaway goal while splitting two defenders and eventually deking the goaltender. He did it for Finland during the IIHF World Championships.

Of course, it’s ultra-noteworthy due to Kakko’s presence in the upcoming 2019 NHL Entry Draft. The New York Rangers are expected to snag the talented youngster after the New Jersey Devils select Jack Hughes first overall.

Kappo scored twice in Finland’s 3-1 victory over Canada in the preliminary round of the IIHF World Championships on Friday. The first of two (as seen above) showcases the very best of the young skater. Kappo’s balance, strength, hands and killer instinct on the finish (not Finnish) has Jeff Gorton and company feeling quite comfortable with the No. 2 overall selection.

In the event the Devils actually select Kappo, Hughes will be sitting pretty on Broadway.
