Former New York Yankees and Mets pitcher, David Aardsma, Joins Schwartz on Sports to discuss a little Long Island Ducks baseball.

Who doesn’t remember David Aardsma?

The former Major League Baseball relief pitcher is well-traveled to say the least. Since 2004, he’s pitched in nine seasons for eight different teams. Among the 30 clubs are the Seattle Mariners, Atlanta Braves, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Cubs, San Francisco Giants and even the hometown New York Yankees and Mets.

Ladies and gentlemen, the man has been around the block. But don’t allow that to fool you.

The guy can still pitch and he’s currently doing it at 35-years of age with the local Long Island Ducks.

On Thursday, the former first-round talent joined Schwartz on Sports to discuss a few things including his season with the young Ducks and a possible big league comeback.

Hey, you know the rule. Once somebody becomes a Duck, they automatically turn awesome in every sense of the word.
