Mika Zibanejad makes it known to the world what he’s seeking in negotiations from his employer, the New York Rangers.

It looks like the New York Rangers and Mika Zibanejad have finally begun some sought of negotiations as their arbitration hearing date approaches.

It was reported by Elliot Friedman of Hockey Night in Canada that Zibanejad is asking for $5.3 Million and the Rangers are offering $4.2 million. It’s great that the two sides have begun the process to get a contract done, but they only have two more days to work it out. Better late than never I guess.

Hopefully, they will meet somewhere in the middle and avoid going to arbitration on Tuesday.

SI NHL tweeted that Ranger goalie Henrik Lundqvist is number No. 6 on the SI Fashionable 50 list. Writer Jamie Lisanti interviewed the King as they discussed fashion in the NHL, the colors of suits he likes and how fashion and hockey are linked together.

Mats Zuccarello posted this picture on his Instagram account of him hiking in Sweden. Looks beautiful up there in the mountains but pleases Zucc don’t sprain an ankle now, the team is short enough on offense.
