Did Kristaps Porzingis just advocate for the New York Knicks to make a trade for Cavs star point guard Kyrie Irving?

Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving wants out of Cleveland. One of the four teams he wants to play for? None of than the New York Knicks.

Knick fans are already in a frenzy, even though the prospect of the two teams reaching a deal is far from certain. Photoshopped images of Kyrie Irving sporting a Knick jersey have been floating around Twitter since the news broke.

The photos have apparently reached the eyes of New York’s favorite Latvian, Kristaps Porzingis.

Porzingis liked a tweet sent by a Knick fan to ESPN’s Ian Begley with Kyrie Irving sporting the orange and blue.

Could this be Kristaps Porzingis subtlety letting Knicks management know that he wants them to make a move for Kyrie Irving? Or is this just Porzingis having fun and liking a tweet on Twitter?

The most intriguing part of it all is that Porzingis could indirectly be campaigning for a trade that will likely send his buddy Carmelo Anthony out of town.
