New York Rangers wonder boy Jimmy Vesey is now tied for the NHL lead with six goals after tallying this one against the St. Louis Blues.

Do you think the wonder boy was ready for the National Hockey League?

While we already knew he was, he’s now left no doubt after tallying his sixth goal of the season.

With the St. Louis Blues in town, New York Rangers rookie Jimmy Vesey received a beautiful feed from Derek Stepan in the slot and buried it for his sixth goal of the season, which now has him tied for the league lead (video above).

It was a power-play goal and it was yet another example of New York’s terrific pinpoint passing with the man advantage.

Just prior to that, Chris Kreider, who’s making his return to the lineup after suffering through neck spasms, made his presence felt by dishing one to Dan Girardi who blasted one from the point to give the Rangers a 1-0 lead.

The two teams are in the locker room during the first intermission with the Blueshirts owning a 2-0 lead.
