New York Rangers breakout star Chris Kreider is expected back in the lineup on Tuesday night when the St. Louis Blues come to town.
The New York Rangers best forward over the first five games of the season is back and ready for action.
Chris Kreider, the 25-year-old who piled up four goals and three assists, is expected back in the lineup when the St. Louis Blues visit Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night. Kreider couldn’t be happier, via Matt Calamia of newyorkrangers.com:
“Better. Excited to play hockey again,” Kreider said when asked how he was feeling after taking part in his first team practice in nearly a week.
Kreider’s been dealing with neck spasms that were spurred on the morning after the Rangers game in Washington D.C. on Oct. 22.
“Just kind of came on suddenly,” the winger said. “Just one of those things I guess.”
Alain Vigneault will most likely throw him right back into the line that saw so much success over the first few weeks of the season. The line that has him teamed up with Mika Zibanejad and Pavel Buchnevich.
