With the New York Rangers looking to clinch a playoff berth against the Columbus Blue Jackets, power forward Chris Kreider tallies a gem.

This one most definitely falls into the category of “a goal so nice, you must see it twice.”

Check it out (video above). With the New York Rangers needing two points to clinch a spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs, power forward Chris Kreider made sure to contribute.

With his center-iceman, Derek Stepan, getting the play started, Kreider managed to backhand one home past Joonas Korpisalo on his own rebound to give the Blueshirts a 1-0 first period lead.

The goal was his 20th of the season.

The score remains 1-0 as both teams rest during the first intermission.
