Rangers fans are back at the Garden to see rookies Alexis Lafrenière and K’Andre Miller in person for the first time.

The New York Rangers are welcoming approximately 2,000 fans back to Madison Square Garden for the first time since COVID-19 put a stop to the 2020 regular season last March.

It’s been almost a year since the Blueshirts last played in front of fans at home, and both the team and the fanbase are excited to get right back into it.

This will be the first time in almost 16 years that fans will watch a Henrik Lundqvist-less Rangers team in person, but there’s still a lot to be excited about.

Fans attending Friday’s game against the Boston Bruins will see 2021 first overall draft pick Alexis Lafrenière and fellow rookie K’Andre Miller for the first time ever up close.

The Rangers will be taking on a very dangerous Bruins team and will hope the return of fans can help them come up on top.
