New York Jets superstar Jamal Adams had a front-row seat to see the New York Knicks knock off the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday.

Mike Breen better watch his back. Jamal Adams might be looking to take his job. The New York Jets strong safety might have had the best seat in the house to see the New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks play.

From celebrity row, Adams took an up-close-and-personal video of the action while adding some hilarious commentary.

Adams grew up just outside of Dallas, so it’s likely that he was feeling somewhat conflicted sitting courtside at Madison Square Garden. On one hand, the Mavericks are his hometown team. But on the other hand, plenty of Jets fans are also Knicks fans.

Judging by Adams’ commentary, it sounds like the All-Pro safety was just excited to be at the game.

Thursday night marked the first time Kristaps Porzingis returned to Madison Square Garden as a member of the Mavericks. He was met with a chorus of boos and constant “KP sucks” chants. The rude reception had the All-Star rattled despite the fact that he put up 20 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocks.

Two of those points came on a thunderous putback dunk before the end of the third quarter. That was one of the plays that clearly had Adams fired up.

New York and Dallas met twice in the span of one week and the Knicks swept the season series in thrilling fashion. In both games, Luka Doncic erupted for a triple-double, but it was Frank Ntilikina‘s stifling fourth-quarter defense that would be the difference. Adams had a front-row view of Ntilikina’s “bulldog” mentality on the court.

The hard-hitting safety has to appreciate Ntilikina’s willingness to muck it up and make the gritty play when it matters most.
