New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge hits a line drive home run in a rehab game for Triple-A Scranton on Tuesday night.
Since April 20, Aaron Judge has been nursing a strained oblique that’s kept him off the field for the New York Yankees.
However, Judge is only a few days away from returning to the Bombers lineup. He just wants to play two nine-inning games in the field for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. That includes Tuesday night’s game for the RailRiders.
And on Tuesday, Judge looked healthy enough to return to the Yankees. He hit an opposite-field bomb for the Yanks Triple-A affiliate.
As Judge comes closer to making his return for New York, Giancarlo Stanton made his return Tuesday night against the Tampa Bay Rays. Stanton has missed 68 games this year as he deals with bicep, shoulder and calf injuries.
With Edwin Encarnacion in the Bronx, Didi Gregorius and Stanton already back, and eventually Judge, the Bronx Bombers are ready to live up to their name.
