Turn down the volume because you will get absolutely blown out of the water by this Alex Rodriguez fan’s interaction with the former New York Yankees third baseman.

While the language may not be suitable for the workplace, this kid did what any reasonable fan would do after meeting their idol: freak out.

And make a complete fool of himself. But hey, it’s good entertainment for New York Yankees fans to see while their team is descending to the cellar of the AL East rapidly.

When Alex Rodriguez passed by, this fan absolutely went nuts, simply chanting his name until A-Rod looked his way. Then, the magical moment happened. As two hands touched and A-Rod gave his signature point, the entire world likely went blurry. And not just because this fan was shaking so much from excitement.

I can only imagine what this guy’s reaction would be to meeting Jennifer Lopez. Sorry, A-Rod, but I’m pretty sure someone would have to give him mouth-to-mouth, with hopes that it would be Lopez herself.

So while this seems absolutely insane, it could be so much more exciting if it were J-Lo. A-Rod knows where he stands in that relationship and every single human with eyes can see that.

What I’m perhaps more interested in is what he did after. While doing such a stellar job of filming the interaction and the hand that A-Rod caressed, he then immediately ran his fingers through his hair during his shock.

No, no, no. That is not what you do! The second you meet your idol and they touch any part of your body, you don’t touch anything. Nothing. You go to the nearest CVS Pharmacy, pick up saran wrap and protect it until you can figure out the best way to preserve A-Rod DNA.

Maybe make a porcelain cast of your hand to display on your dresser. That way you can hold his hand anytime and relive what seemed to be the most exciting part of your life so far?

Just throwing ideas out there. But, kid, you did it wrong. With a moment that big, make sure to preserve that DNA.

I get it … too much excitement and your first time meeting a celebrity of that caliber. But take some tips from the experts…you can do better than that.
