Offseason? What offseason? The New York Yankees top prospects in the AFL are earning All-Star nominations left and right.

If you thought this season was fun to watch for the New York Yankees, you’re in for a pleasant surprise. The future is looking brighter than ever in the Arizona Fall League this year.

So bright, in fact, that two of their top prospects, Thairo Estrada and Justus Sheffield, have earned spots on this year’s “Fall-Star” Game according to the YES Network.

Both Estrada and Sheffield are 21 years old and were showing a lot of incredible talents before Arizona. Their skills have only improved since playing in the AFL.

Possibly joining them in the game on Saturday in Scottsdale, AZ could be Billy McKinney or Estevan Florial. Both have been selected as part of a “Final Vote” process.

The Yankees have had several successes in the AFL, including Greg Bird, Gary Sanchez and Gleyber Torres. This might just be the first step for a Yankees player to win an AFL MVP award, which would mark the team’s third in four years.

This Saturday night is where the show will go down, bringing these two superstars to the spotlight once again. Put some shades on, friends, because the future of the New York Yankees is incredibly bright.
