According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, New York Knicks owner James Dolan is ‘weighing the future’ of president Phil Jackson.

The New York Knicks are 80-166 with Phil Jackson as team president. That wasn’t enough. Owner James Dolan even picked up the two-year option on Jackson’s contract and endorsed him publicly on the Michael Kay Radio Show.

Apparently, Dolan has started to consider changing his stance on the Zen Master. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, Dolan is “weighing the future” of Jackson as team president.

This could mean a lot of things. Dolan is an idiot, so maybe he’s not going to do anything, and somebody lied to Woj. Then again, maybe Dolan was paying attention when his president spoke publicly about trading the team’s best prospect since Patrick Ewing.

If anything would’ve pushed Dolan over the edge, it would’ve been the Kristaps Porzingis thing right? Dolan loves Carmelo Anthony. So also, there’s that.

Ramona Shelburne of ESPN dropped this little bomb. She says there’s expected to be clarity on Phil’s future in the morning. Take it however you’d like.
