The New York Knicks have scheduled workouts with projected lottery picks, Kentucky’s Malik Monk and Duke’s Luke Kennard.

The NBA Draft is less than two weeks away, and the New York Knicks have workouts scheduled with two of the top guards available. The latest players on the schedule are Kentucky’s Malik Monk and Duke’s Luke Kennard.

According to Ian Begley of ESPN New York, New York has a workout scheduled with Monk for early next week, and members of the organization are impressed with Kennard’s decision-making and perimeter shooting.

The Knicks have been linked to Monk in the past, and are very interested. However, this is the first time that Kennard has come up as a potential selection for them.

The eighth pick would be a little high for the sharpshooter. DraftExpress has him going off the board at No. 11 and ranked 16th in their top 100 prospects.

Monk’s one of the most unique prospects in the draft. He’s been projected to go anywhere from the Philadelphia 76ers at No. 3 to the late lottery. DraftExpress currently has him being chosen by the Knicks at No. 8.

New York is also reportedly interested in top guard prospects Dennis Smith Jr. and Frank Ntilikina.
