After seeing a three-day suspension thrown his way, Matt Harvey files a grievance against the New York Mets. Noah Syndergaard bad news comes.

The nerve of this guy is simply astounding. Just moments after Matt Harvey was suspended three games by the New York Mets, he took action.
On Sunday, Harvey filed a grievance with the league against the Mets, his employer, via the New York Daily News.
According to baseball insider Jon Heyman, Harvey played golf on Saturday, ultimately leading to his absence from the club, one that forced youngster Adam Wilk to pitch in a pinch. He surrendered seven runs at the hands of the Miami Marlins and the Mets lost 7-0.
It feels as though the Mets are fed up with Harvey’s actions, especially manager Terry Collins.
“We had to make a statement today,” manager Terry Collins told WOR before the game. “Everybody’s different, but we’ve got a job to do here, and this guy has a chance to be one of the best in the game, and it’s got to become his No. 1 priority right now.”
In other depressing news, it’s been revealed that Noah Syndergaard won’t start throwing again until after six weeks have passed from today. This means he won’t be on that mound again until after the 2017 MLB All-Star Game, via CBS New York and AP.
“It stings,” Syndergaard said Saturday, two days after he was examined in Los Angeles by Dr. Neal ElAttrache.
“I don’t regret it at all,” he said. “I threw a bullpen two days prior and I felt great, ready to go. Just something weird happened.”
The Mets are back in action on Monday night when they welcome in the struggling San Francisco Giants.
