Following his release from the New York Jets, many NFL team executives believe that cornerback Darrelle Revis is on his way back to New England.

Earlier this offseason, cornerback Darrelle Revis was released by the New York Jets. With him now being a free agent, many NFL Executives told Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports that they expect the former Jet to end up back with the Patriots.

“He’s a perfect fit in that quarters scheme Belichick runs, and they have the kind of safeties who can help him out, too.” An NFL personnel man told Confora. “We’re convinced he’s going back to New England. It just makes too much sense.”

Revis played for the Patriots in 2014 and helped lead them Super Bowl victory over the Seattle Seahawks. A return to New England would be beneficial to them especially since they have lost Logan Ryan in free agency and there are rumors that restricted free-agent Malcolm Butler could be traded.

It will be interesting to see if Revis can win another Super Bowl title if he signs with the Patriots.
