According to Ian Begley of ESPN, New York Knicks forward Kristaps Porzingis says he’s “good to go” for Wednesday’s game vs. Orlando.

New York Knicks forward Kristaps Porzingis (ankle sprain) has missed the last two games against the Philadelphia 76ers (win) and Toronto Raptors (loss). The Knicks could’ve used their star big man against the Raptors when they posted just 91 points due to Carmelo Anthony‘s inefficient 24 points (9-26 FG, 2-9 3PT, 4-4 FT).

The 21-year-old has missed ten total games this season, but he told Ian Begley of ESPN New York that he’s “good to go” for Wednesday’s matchup against the Orlando Magic.

Porzingis hasn’t been the same since his Achilles injury that caused him to start missing games back in January. A second injury on top of that (no matter how serious) could be reason to consider shutting down the future of the franchise.

The Knicks don’t want to give the appearance that they’re tanking, but nothing is more important than the Unicorn. Don’t expect Porzingis to keep playing if New York keeps losing.
